another week has passed! so fast!! :) has been pre-occupied work lately that I wanna take a break to rest. shall go check how many days of leave that i have left and start planning. think my goldfish memory syndrome is coming back alr! *sigh* what is happening to me??

watched 2 movies over the weekend today, ipman2 and ironman2. i think i prefer ipman2 to ironman2. the story is more intriguing and captivating, at the same time, funnie. the fighting scenes are really awesome! when the main lead won, there was applause coming from the audience watching the movie! haha! something u might get while watching an action-packed movie in a packed cinema! :) as i did not watch ironman1, so had some difficulty connecting to the movie, has to constantly ask my boyfren what and why. haha! the action and the storyline was okie only i think. but still worth the money. :)

joined the shape run and got tics for jay chou concert! going to b so broke alr! it does not help when my tax returns is here! :S have to settle it within 30 day, on the date of the letter. :(

almost forgot that it is a public holi for 1st may! haha! although it does not very applicable to me, cos i dun work on sats also..
went for my virgin gym exp... blur me manage to forget to bring shorts and i have to wear my going-out short to attend the class. :S feel so out of place sia! but i think i can get used to it.. haha.. cos i gt a free 6 month membership... should go more often, so that it will be more worth it..

anyway, the class that i went to is called bodybalance. the description given seems very interesting and relatively easy, " fantastic mind/ body class that integrates Tai Chi, Yoga, Pilates, flexibility and core training with uplifting and inspirational music. This class will leave you feeling refreshed and renewed with a sense of well-being and calmness. " haha, it is misleading for first-timers like me!! mayb too long never exercise alr, just feel tired and aching after that one-hour lesson! now my core muscles are still aching.. :) a good workout i would say.. :)

*sigh* i am a lousy girlfren! always kick up a big fuss over very trival matters!! :( i feel so guilty now.. :( need to keep my lousy temper in check! :( shall try to give my boyfren a bit of surprises here and there! :)

it has been another week! it has been a week of more downs compared to ups.. :( but i must b positive!

din managed to get any jay chou tics! the tics are sold out again within 3 hours! that is disgusting! :S but nvm, no jay chou but i am going to Osaka!! :) grabbed an great offer and in return my pocket is going to burn a very big hole.. nvm lah, one step at one time! :) woohoo!

my complexion is getting from bad to worse... :( now trying evening primrose oil to see whether it improves.. googled it and it seems like it works quite well ? shall try it and see? anyway, it also have other benefits and can improve PMS too! haha! :) shall experience for myself..

been real lazy to update my own blog... it seems like i no longer feel the need to update anything now that i have fb as the next outlet.. :)

A new year came but my work never change, made new frens at work, feel less out of place.. cultivated the habit of leaving on the dot and starting to like this life a lot! hahaha! but everything will change when i go back to HQ... :S

Went to BKK and came back in one piece... must really count my lucky stars! :) as usual bought a lot! encounter conmen but it does not dampen our spirits and we gotten ourselves a morale booster! haha! things that i din manage to buy this time round, no issues will making another trip in june and i hope the situation will more or less stablize?

been catching with my frens' lifes mainly from FB.. it is always happy to see that they are living well and some are even getting married! time really flies and i guess I have reached the period whereby more and more ppl are getting married and having kids.. :) seeing all the pretty pics posted sometimes make me wonder how my own wedding will be like and when is the wedding.. haha..

i have been neglecting my blog lately.. dun think any one reads it anymore.. haha..

life has been normal.. adjusting well into my new role.. :) another temptation coming along its way.. should i try for it? it will be one with a lot of risks, am i prepared to take any at this point in time? am i prepared to change what i am doing now? *sigh*

boyfren having exams lately, therefore we have not been meeting for like a month now.. so sad.. but nvm, this kind of life is coming to an end alr.. haha.. can't wait to meet up this fri! will just be a simple affair cos he will be damn tired..

just had 4 teeth extracted as part of the preparation for braces.. not a pleasant feeling but the dentist was very nice and gentle, so no pain at all.. just a lot of blood lost! haha.. as quoted by my boyfren, it is for a better future.. haha!
braces will b up by xmas, so i will b having a painful xmas.. :( i hope it is bearable pain... *sigh*

today is not a gd day!

realised that i might have mass sent the wrong no to my frens, then kanna niao by my boyfren... *smacks my forehead*

broke the modem usb port that i use everyday for my work, unable to assess the network for work.. *smacks my forehead x3*

damn hungry by 11 plus, bought bah chor mee for lunch, but cannot finish it cos not very nice.. :(

went to repair the modem usb port, might need to pay for the damage and was late for my briefing today... :(x2

my damn shoes seem to have shrink and made my little toe so painful that I have to limp my way home... :( x3

Went jogging again! Hehe! Today managed to cover more distance with a shorter time! :) hope I will be ready for the run next month.. :) shall continue to train up, hehe.. Actually, I was quite amazed with myself.. Still got motivation to run.. Haha!

Today was not a smooth day for me.. Getting irritated too easily! Must really keep my temper in place.. But I dun understand how some ppl can have the cheek to ask for an official document to be generated within a very short time! Just hate this kind of last min requests! :( I will then need to drop everything just to entertain these ppl! Hope tml will b a better day!

Had a major change of my job scope lately, still trying to adapt to it.. but I think I am adapting well, with a change in environment, people and job.. :) Hope everything continue to go smoothly..

Anyway, the exams seasons are coming.. which means I will need to find some activities to occupy myself during more of my weekends.. :S Jia you wor! *hee*

Been catching movies for the past two weekends, wanted to watch 500 days of summers but but.. GV cinemas in town dun have any screening! wanted to watch in marina square but the movies screening in GV marina are mostly horror movies! :( then after a more thorough check, we realised only GV grand, GV max and GV vivo.. :S I dun really like to go vivo, cos need to change train.. a bit ma fan.. :S so diasppointing bah.. end up we watched the Tsumami movie.. it was not too bad.. but a bit predictable.. if u have seen enough natural disasters movie, u wun have much surprises.. however, there are still very touching parts on how ppl sacrificed themselves for others.. It never fail to touch me and bring tears to my eyes.. :(

Speaking of that, just heard some not so good news over the weekend.. *sigh* it just reminds me that how fragile life can be.. :(

:) another fulfiling weekend spent with my boy boy! :)

went to night cycling together.. think we have not gone cycling before.. hehe, actually quite excited about it though.. however, i think i scared boyfren with my horror stories about my cycling skills.. haha..

it was quite fun though, really long time never really sweat it out le.. hehe.. i honestly think that my cycling skills have improved but i dun think my boy boy and his frens agree with me.. haha.. the route was similar to the night cycling 2 years ago with some minor alterations.. i would not know cos we went back halfway through.. mainly i din wan to get wet due to the rain that came suddenly..

i am really lucky to have my boy boy with me right now.. :) this is the probably the first time that i have been given the feeling that i really impt to a certain someone.. :)

feel so blissful! hehe!

On a side note, i have went to pick up my new specs! haha, now i look very nerdy with my new black specs.. haha.. like what my boy boy said, more ben ben looking... haha.. quite happy with this purchase! if i cut my hair with bangs, it will probably complete the look!

just went to have my specs made yest night @ my boy boy's best fren's mommy's shop.. haha.. very long association!

anyway, the shop was the kind of old shops, like in the 80's kind.. haha, very vintage.. u wun be able to find much shops ard these days! :)

found out that my shortsighted-ness has increased! :( and i gt astig now! it is the result of overworking my eyes! *sigh* damn sian.. seems like i should not wear my contacts so often.. nvm, with my new nerdy specs, i shall try to wear them often, esp to work! hahaha.. chose a new plastic black frame.. very nerdy specs, can act nerdy le! haha! the nice auntie gave me a hefty discount... haha.. save a bit for my monthly shopping!! hehe..

speaking of shopping... i realised it is dangerous to let me roam ard alone! haha.. just within a short span of one hour, can make damages to my pockets le.. :S i need my boy boy to curb my shopping urges! *bleah*

Last day of our Thailand trip!

We went back to MDK to buy the stuff that we din get to buy the other time, eg, gifts for family and local delights! :) Came out with very big bags!! and heavy too! had to bring all these back to the hotel.. then we went to Central world to see see look look.. haha, most impt of all, is to go bra shopping!! heard from a fren that it was damn cheap! and they having sale somemore! haha, okie lah, i din went crazy over that.. cos there was quite limited in designs.. cannot try somemore! haha..

after that me and my boyfren was too tired alr.. we walked all this while.. our energy was slowly being depleted... any amt of shopping does not entice me anymore, i guess we just wanted to rest at some corner! :) end up we took a nap at the hotel lobby! haha, so unglam! lucky it was semi-covered.. not a lot of ppl saw too!

after a short nap, we went to have dinner then spent our remaining money on foot message.. must pamper our feet for supporting us all these days! :)

after that, we are in time to go to the airport or so we tot! when we reached the airport, we realised that our flight gt delayed again! :S by a whole 3 hours!! we have no money, not say no money just that we dun wan to change anymore and with nothing to do.. i was shivering in the cold as i din bring a jacket... :( damn sad.. have to steal warmth from my boyfren! haha..

used our remaining money to assess internet at the airport.. the webbie that we stayed the longest! facebook! haha.. we are both facebook addicts! haha.. seems like nothing much was changed for the past few days.. haha.. time seem to pass faster when u have something to do.. finally we are on our way to broad the plane...

the flight was damn shaky!! a bit scary... :S lucky we were back in Singapore in one pc at about 4 in the morning! quickly went back to my boyfren's house to bath and slp...

That sort of concludes my trip! hehe, we are alr sort of planning out next trip!! :D

The next day we went to the Weekend Market... woke up extra early cos we know we gt a lot to cover over there.. :D i alr told boyfren he will do more damage than me, cos i was not impressed with what i see the previous time i was here.. :)

Anyway, we took a cab there and tried to alight at the correct entrance so that we can go the area that we wanted to go and not get lost like my previous trip.. haha.. after a while of navigating the place, we managed to come to the correct area... :) and off we go!

as i deduced, my boy boy bought more stuff than me just after 2 hours plus of shopping! haha.. mainly clothes for his coming semester.. :) walking has then taken a toll on me, cos we covered damn a lot of distance in just that 2 hours.. :( the strange thing is my boy boy is more energetic than me!! and he never really like shopping... haha.. anyway, i did not really saw anything that i like.. some are quite ex too! :( not worth it to buy? I needed a time out, so we went to the nearest food stall for a break! were also attracted by the smell... :) not exactly hungry but in need of a drink and a seat! haha..

the drinks are quite cheap but the food were not exactly cheap.. they really are out to "cut carrots" ! i always tell my boy boy that we are 2 walking carrots! haha.. after a short rest, we continued but this time to search for tee shirts for his brother cos we could not find any jerseys that he wanted.. so alternative would be tee shirts for him.. so we need to walk back to our initial starting point where we saw all the tee shirts shops.. however, the sizing there is very small, compared to Singapore. my boy boy has to wear size L and mostly their sizing stop at L! so have to find other things to buy for him... then suddenly remb that he wanted a singlet, so we went to search for that.. :) after settling that, i was almost 3/4 dead le.. haha.. really cannot walk anymore le.. think the fatigue for the past few days also has taken a toll on me.. anyway, the weather also became worse, all the gloomy clouds gathered and looked damn threatening! so we took a cab and went back to our hotel..

reached our hotel and it was raining damn heavily!! the wind was damn strong too! an umbrella will not also help too! somemore the cab din stop infront of the hotel door... so irritating! so we were comtemplating how to reach the hotel without getting drenched.. ended up we just dashed back to the door and we were totally wet!! in less than 5 seconds!! :( went up to room to bath and took a nap.. *wink*

went to Suam Lam night market to walk ard.. it is really a diff exp! the things there are so interesting! hehe, alot of things to see! not so crowded too! i like! but then things are more pricy than other places.. the arty farty feel is very strong! a very good place if you wanna to get household decor items and unique clothes.. :) managed to get some pressies! :D

it was getting late and we make our way back to the hotel.. had a fulfilling day! :D

Back from BKK!! haha, actually been back for more than a week alr.. haha, just that lazy to update my blog.. also din take a lot of pics cos we are too busy shopping and eating..

Anyway, our flight was delayed till 2pm on our way there, when our flight is supposed to be 7am in the morning! so upsetting! :( they compansated us with "refreshments" and a $50 travel vouchers... our one whole day was sort of wasted.. :( we reached at BKK at about 5 plus... took some time to check in and look ard our room.. it was pretty decent, given the price we paid.. haha..

Afterwhich, we went to shop ard at my fav place, Platimum mall!! :D haha.. damage = a dress and a pair of shades! hehe.. However, it did not hit us that everywhere started to close early at about 7 plus.. Therefore, when we wan to look for some place to have dinner, there was not much choices as everywhere is closed.. decided to try our luck at the market near our hotel.. However, we are caught in the rain that came damn suddenly... have to wait for the rain to stop before we can walk back.. *sigh* we din have not much of any choice due to the rain, all the hawkers seem to have gone into hiding due to the rain.. :(

our last resort = 7-11... bought instant noodles and some sausages back to our hotel room... not forgetting our mineral water! haha.. when we went back to the room, we also took a look at the room service, and realised that it was so cheap! we also ordered one plate of fried rice to fill our stomachs! :) not too bad a way to end our day..

Day 2 (boy boy's Bday!)
ate breakfast at the hotel, think we ate too much cos we din feel hungry till late afternoon! hahaha.. this trip we really save a lot on food, cos we are not big eaters.. allow us to save money for our shopping.. haha.. went to Pantip Plaza to see see look look, it is similar to the sim lim square in Singapore.. nothing really to see.. the prices are comparable to Singapore.. went back to Platimum mall again! hehe, but gt time limit cos we need to cover a lot of places.. haha, i abit cannot remb what i bought le.. however, i realised this time the things does not really catch my eye.. so i did make a lot of damages..

went over to Siam Discovery Center and Siam Paragon... really an eye opener! it was very posh! and the brands that they have is really very impressive, really is a one stop for your every needs... however, the prices also seem to be higher as compared to Singapore for the same item... we concluded that the rich ppl in BKK is really very rich! hahaha.. The variety of food that they have at Siam Paragon is really astonishing! they have one entire floor for food! all kinds of food! too bad we are not too hungry at that time, so we also din really stop and buy a lot of food.. we just see see look look...

They have this oceanary at the other side of the basement, we wanted to go however, it is a bit too ex.. on our way home, we realised that with our boarding passes, there is a 20% discount.. :( so wasted!

went over to MDK as it is just very near Siam Paragon.. haha, it is boyfren's shopping time! he bought quite a few stuff there.. haha.. however, i think we could have bargained more for those damages! a bit wasted! I loved the jeans that me and boyfren bought there! hehe.. a worthy buy! hehe.. i think it is the most expensive item?

walked back to our hotel as there was a traffic jam, we reckon that it might be faster and it is not that far.. also a good way to take a closer look on the roadside stalls.. we saw ppl selling grilled fish! the fish is so much larger than those we see in Singapore.. and every fish looks as though they are marinaded with salt! quite scary though.. me and boy boy dun dare to try.. :) however, it was quite a long walk back to hotel.. haha, was quite tiring... never walked that long before.. hahaha.. lucky gt boyfren with me, i think he also very tired.. carrying all our damages.. :) thanks boyfren! *muack* :D

we went for thai massage! our virgin attempt! haha, it was very comfortable and relaxing!! haha, although at certain points, it was quite scary! haha.. u really must exp it for yourself to understand the feeling! :) the service overall is quite good and it is damn cheap! less than 10 dollars for an hour's massage! :D damn worth it!

think my blog has been neglected again.. haha, been busy with work and personal life.. :) can said that it is fulfiling.. :)

work has been more stressful than usual, it is not any easy with me being careless and all.. *sigh* really trying my best to reach my boss's expectations.. *sigh* guess have to try even harder, first by doing my work slowly and take time to really check.. have to try to stretch my attention span as well.. so worried to go on leave now..

nothing much has been going on.. went to QQ bday party last fri... was great catching up with frens that u have not seen for a long time~ hope we can do so more often! :) really a night well spent!

also gotten a surprise celebration for my boy boy.. his expression was just classic! hahaha.. have to extend my thanks to everyone who came! :) pardon me if i was not a good planner with a lot of waiting time..

hope everyone ard me is happy and well! u know who i am referring to, yesh, it's you! we should meet up over lunch one day! u better reply my sms wor~!

on the plane in less than 4 hours! damn! forgot to mention that my flight was delayed!!!! so upset! lucky they tell us earlier in advance, if not we might have to wait at the airport and do nothing.. :( okie lah, at least can slp longer..

with 2 cases of H1N1 on my floor, everyone seem to be very jumpy about it.. u can see ppl wearing masks, using hand sensitizer more often than usual... i guess due to widespread publicity, ppl can't seem to associate it with just another type of flu.. i guess it is in their mindset that it something like sars?

when the email came out on yesterday from our partner, the tension in office immediately increased.. my pregnant colleague was immediately sent home and "ordered" to work from home.. it was another gossip topic among the colleagues, speculating who are the ppl that gotten it.. i on the other hand started to feel itchness in my throat.. i tot it was probably it was just my paranoia..

took my temp the next day, it was below normal, but at least i was not having a fever? so i continue working, had to cover for quite a few of my colleagues, it was like fighting against time.. took temperature at lunchtime again, it was still normal, although the sore throat and cough seem to be getting worse.. drank more water than usual, to ease the feeling in my throat.. however, it comes to a pt where i really cannot concentrate on my work.. by then, my colleague told me that a lot of ppl is on mc alr, moreover, it was clustered near our stretch and all are down with flu - like symptoms.. it just make everyone to b on their toes.. i decided to go see doc at this point in time as i was feeling fluish.. told my manager and she asked me my symptoms as she need to report to HR now.. i told her and i think it gave her a shock..

she told me to update her after the trip to the doc.. the instructions from the docs was equally shocking.. haha.. i had to isolate myself up till tues.. this is the day that the 2 cases are in office till.. isolate really means isolate, in my own room, minimise contact with my family members.. the doc also added a pt, as i was having mild symptoms, no pt me going to hospital to do the confirmation test on H1N1, as it will not help me to recover faster, so she just gave me flu medication.. she also dun wan to give me tamiflu, as the docs are working not to give unless it is like very serious cases.. they are afraid to have tamiflu-resistant strain appearing in Singapore.. if not, all will be gone, no medication will be able to help..

being a science student, i understand what she is talking about, therefore i just nodded in agreement.. told my manager about the instructions, i think she also had a shock.. told me to update her again on sun.. told her i will and i make my way home immediately.. these few days my lappie will my sole company as i am not allowed to see anyone including my boy boy.. :(

first my boyfren was not mobilized at all.. the tot of him being mobilized disrupted all our plans we have today.. :(

my holiday trip might be cancelled... :( :(

then realised my frens are involved in a spat... :( :( :( just disappointed by the turn of events.. it is neither's fault but it has to reach such a state..

Seems like my frens ard me are alr making plans to settle down in the near future.. Seeing more and more of my frens getting married or even making plans to get married(like q-ing for their dream house), even my own cousin is getting married at the end of this year, i will just go, "woah! another one!" It just makes me that i am damn old.. haha..

All the asking by my frens does not help either.. haha.. Although I will feel envious and glad that they have found the one, but I cannot imagine myself getting married in the near future.. not that I can also.. haha.. A lot of factors to consider.. I still feel like a kid lor! It just seems like such a big step.. haha, might just get cold feet just prior to the event! hahaha.. But who knows, my mindset will change and it will b a time where the answers will reveal itself..

I am starting not to make sense.. haha..

it has been a long time since we have the luxury of time like this.. wanted to eat astons but they have some problems with their kitchen and cannot offer grilled items.. wt... travel so far and cannot get to eat.. nvm, we settled with pastamania..

anyway, it was time well spent! :D so happy!

there are still kind ppl left in this world..

I was limping my way home due to my heels(bought a size smaller :S), therefore it is too painful to even walk properly.. was taking my own sweet time to limp home and stopping along the way to adjust my heels.. then suddenly gt this guy who walking ahead of me asked me, "are u okie?", and pointed to my feet and added, " blisters?"

he tot i was having blisters! he even added, " which blk do u stayed?" after returning his question with my blk no, he then asked, " want to wear my slippers to go home?"

I was stunned by his sudden offer... as a reflex action, i said, "it was okie." and continue my limping journey home.. in my heart, i was thinking what a sweet guy.. i should have thanked him properly..

it really does show that kind ppl still exist...

another week over.. :) time really passed very fast!

went to Batam with my boy boy last weekend for a very special occasion.. *hee* was almost late for the ferry, but when we reached there, we still need to wait for a long time! :S end up we could get our chips!

we saw waichong and xuemin over at the waiting area! so qiao! they were also going to the same resort as us! :) din manage to take a pic with them..

finally reached our resort! it was not too bad! :) but we do not have enough time! :( there was actually a lot to do over there, can try their wide selection of water sports, can indulge in their wide selection of spa and massages, if not can just relax over there! :)

after check in, we took their shuttle bus out to one of the shopping malls.. it was about half an hour ride wor~ so it is quite far from the resort.. went in search of food first cos we have not eaten anything for lunch.. walking down the food street, we were imm attracted to their pizza hut! hehe, it was damn cheap!! hehe, ate till we were so bloated..

actually there was nothing to shop, tons of fake stuff(AA grade somemore, LOL), from wallets to luggages! haha.. think if the creator of LV were to go there, he will die of heart attach wor~

wanted to watch movie but the timing was quite off, we din wan to return to the resort too late cos we are first time here afterall, we do not know our way here. so ended with me doing pedicure.. hehe.. it was cheap! :) everything there is very cheap!! even a trip to their hypermart cost us only S$4! we came out with 2 bags full of ......

Indo Mee!! haha.. and also bottles of mineral water.. haha..

Took a cab back, it was quite a scary ride cos 80% of the trip back was in darkness, there is totally no street lights at all, and the cab is passing through all the rural areas! i seriously tot that the cab driver is going to sell us away!! :S finally reached our resort back in one pc.. :D

we were actually very near home although we are one hour away! hehe, cos we were able to watch Singapore programs on tv!! then i wun missed my Harper's Island! it was another epi of thrills and a bit of gore.. :S lucky gt boy boy with me, if not i do not think i will be able to slp at all! somemore there was blackouts throughout the night!

although it was a short trip, but an relaxing one no doubt cos we also indulge ourselves in a 90mins massage.. hehe.. damn shiok! Hope to go there again when the new wing is opened!! :D

my weekend has been filled with a lot of activities.. :D
a break from my work! yay!

ate sushi teh with boyfren for dinner, a mini celebration for his results! :D the Q was damn long! when we reached there, we were alr halfway thr the entire level.. alot of ppl really liked to eat sushi teh?

Boyfren's pasta! it was surprisingly tasty! hehe.. worth recommending!

potato salad tempura... soso only, it is just potato salad that is fried..

we ate until we are damn bloated.. it has been a very long time since we have ate jap food! it was definitely fulfilling! hehe..

tf brought us to trap shooting on sat! it was a very interesting experience, as I have never handled a gun before! somemore this gun is damn huge! 4.5kg to be exact! i carry until my hands are aching by the end of the entire session! my arms are still aching now.. :S I was quite nervous prior the session cos i scared that i might make a blunder, however everything ended smoothly.. hehe..

trying to act pro with the gun.. haha.. the round thing that I am holding is the target that we are going to hit later on.. it is quite small.. haha, however the shooting range for the shotgun is about 30 inches in circumference.. hehe..

sigh.. went to the doc yest to see what is wrong with me, how come I am feeling so tired lately..
the doc enlightened me with her explanation, I was most probably infected with a flu virus and my immunity is quite strong in the sense that I did not develop any flu symptoms.. however, it still has a certain level of impact on me, explaining the fatigue, the red and puffy eyes, the muscle aches.. therefore the doctor din give me anything for the flu, but something for the eyes and muscle aches.. she also gave me a day's mc for me to really rest.. i think i needed it cos, no matter how much i slp, it just does not feel enough.. :(

let's hope i get rid of this sucky feeling soon... :S

Had lunch with my colleagues on fri despite the very busy schedule that my team has.. wanted to eat pasta, but we were attracted by Harry's one for one lunch promotion.. haha, without saying further, we stepped into the restaurant.. it was rather worth it, as we had 7 ppl and 8 main course was ordered, some of us had desserts and soup, it just adds up to 12 per person.. that's super worth it! :)

the conversation during lunch was also damn interesting.. haha.. although it is a bit X-rated.. *shrugs* what can u expect from a bunch of stressful ladies who slogged their lives at work.. hahahhaa..

went to outback steakhouse on fri for dinner cos we had a $20 dollars voucher.. :) actually we also have the tony romas discount voucher but when we see the Q, it was horribly long.. :( think we will have to wait till midnight b4 we can have a bite for any food if we chose tony romas.. somemore cannot make reservations... somemore boyfren having a craving for steak, so we headed straight to tony romas.. :) lucky it was not too crowded over there..

woke up late on sat, therefore was late for my appt to cut my hair.. as the stylist was fully booked all the way till 6, i have to wait for her to be free in between to cut my hair.. :S *sigh* then becos of this, we cannot really booked any time for the "confessions of a shopholic" ... was damn frustrated with myself and the turnout of the matters... keep snapping at boyfren.. :( feels so bad... anyway, we booked the 4.15 show and my haircut was done just in time.. :) even managed to have time to get a drink and a quick bite b4 the show.. in the end, all went well after that.. :)

went to boyfren's house again as he gt family gathering so cannot stay too late outside.. met up with his uncles and aunties and little cousins.. haha.. quite fun to be with! haha.. simple food, simple company, that's all it matters! :)

this week has been a horrible week at work.. :(
alot of things have happened.. and i also dun know where to start.. everyday u go to work, there will be drama unfolding somewhere.. being the most junior in the dept, there is nothing i can do at all.. it is such a helpless feeling.. :( all i can do is to do my work with a 100% accuracy and not screwed up anything.. *sigh*

Yest was LP's bday and she wanted to celebrate her bday in a clubbish style, so we ended up in Lunar with all the SBS ppl.. :)
First time that I have seen LP becoming tipsy, haha.. It was our turn to take care of our dearest nanny! but we were happy to do so!

We bought her a DKNY wallet, hope that she likes it alot! :)

A must-do with the bday girl, a pic with her! she was still very sober at this pt.. hahaha..

As the night goes on, the ppl have gotten a bit crazy, haha.. just a little bit.. quite a bit of unglam pics are taken.. hahaha.. not going to disclose here though..

met up with my spice gang today! it is actually a combined bday celebration for me, san and jun! haha.. it seems like a bit too belated for me! *shrugs* no choice ah, i have the earliest bday!

We went to this place in toa payoh, apparently it is quite famous with its crab bee hoon and butter crab! :) the one at toa payoh is its second branch, the pioneer place is at amk, the one opp mayflower sec! :) i ate there once and it is damn nice.. however, that was a few years ago.. :) the standard is still the same after so many years and the crowd is also the same, as many ppl as b4! the crab is damn fresh and the soup is damn nice! like as what jun had described, it is damn shiok to drink that! hehe.. the butter crab also not bad, with the man tou to dip into the sauce, it is just heavenly! *yum yum*

They also have the signature dish called playboy chicken! haha, initially we tot what sauce they using and the pic they have is not at all appetizing! However, they actually recommended that dish to us, so we decided to try it.. it is actually just fried chicken with sweet thai sauce.. haha.. what an interesting name they have for the dish! haha..

we also had a special guest joining us today! haha, jas's boyfren! haha.. we all tot he looked like pierre png! :) so we always called him pierre in our conversations.. but his real name is called xuan ming! jun always said it is very diff to remb.. haha.. jun as usual like to mention memories of the past, be it gd or bad! the same things can be mentioned all the time, but just said in a diff format! haha, that's jun for u.. i just hope that he is not scared off by whatever we said.. haha.. next time he will b scared to come to our gathering le.. this time round, ziqi also joined in a bit, guess he is really blending in well with us! haha.. i shutter to think what happens if my boyfren joins our gathering..

It is really a fun time catching up with them! also congrads for san on finding a job! although it may not be the ideal job at the moment but it is something that u wanted to do.. presevere and the path will b better in the future.. :) we shall work hard together! :) For a better future! yeah!

today is a damn unlucky day.. :S
my bead bracelet snapped without any warning, what a bad omen.. it seems to be telling me that my day is doomed from the start.. :S

then i forgot to bring my ez-link card out, had to buy one-way ticket to work..

It was a rather action packed weekend for me! hehe, first of all have to thank everyone who rembed! :)
Also thanks to a very special someone, who gave me a very unforgetable weekend.. :) i appreciate the effort for trying to make my bday a special one! :)

was on half day leave on fri, cos i need to go back and do this weekly report.. :S nvm, met up with my spice gang for dinner (not all of them though).. :) me and san met first.. we did a bit of shopping ard and went to meet jun at tampines for dinner..

my blog is semi dead! haha.. been busy with work! by the time i reached home, ate dinner and it's time for me to hit the sack.. haha.. that's the typical life for me.. :)

anyway, last sat i met with CUHK gang! it happens to be Dyana's bday! :)

We went to shaw towers and ate pasta at this place called the creation cafe! the food is cheap and gd! :)

Look at the yummy brownie! u will get dessert if you ordered a set meal! it is damn worth it cos the brownie is damn delicious! :)

life has been good! :) just had my half-yearly appraisal by my seniors and it was a rather positive one.. more challenging work has been given to me! I shall do my best and prove my worth to them! :) Integrating well within the team too!

Working hard on weekdays and looking forward on weekends where i get to spend it with my dearest ones! :) What more can i ask for? :)

Had a lousy 2008 and i wish this kind of days will last throughout 2009 and many years more!

This is the 300th post! :) it has been a long time since i last updated.. a lot have happened for the past few days.. :P

went to my manager's place for Xmas gathering! her house is so so so big! :) damn pretty and windy!!

She stays on the 22rd floor, a bit scary when u looked down from her balcony..

I picked the phone and a slight sobbing came from the other side of the phone.. *stunned*
"Mom, come save me! I'm in trouble!" *sob sob* I was like what the.. then the voice changed.. someone gave this evil laugh and started to scold vulgarities! although i cannot fully understand the entire phrase as it was said in dialect..
I imm said in english, " I dun know what you are talking about, i think you called the wrong no!" and i put down the phone..

come to think of it, it is actually quite creepy.. i dun know is it for real or a prank.. what a drama... :S

sigh.. been down with stomach upset these few days.. also dun know what i ate wrongly.. cannot remb what could be the cause.. sigh.. always feel so tired with a very bloated feeling.. :(

despite of this, played mj yest with ash, ky and jh at th's house.. haha.. a recording breaking of almost 10 hours for 2 rounds! haha.. damn long!!! first time i played until so long sia.. haha.. was very fun though! i still in learning phase, still a lot of things unsure.. :) overall was fun! my luck as usual was okie.. we should have this more often! :)

met up with my poly frens yest! haha... it was a last min affair as my fren came back for the weekend from his exchange in vietnam! haha, part of his reason of being back was his gf... so sweet of him! :) haha...
went to the area near ex-saint andrew jc for dinner, was an interesting place but a little diff to go without car...
then we went dampesy hill to chill out!
we went to Ben and Jerry's for ice-cream.... *yum yum* there was 10 of us, therefore we ordered the vermonster, which consist of 20 scoops of ice-cream! :)

after half an hour of eating, everyone become very full! haha

It is sunday again... time really passes very fast!
This week has been rather hectic both at work as well at my leisure time... *wink*

Work has been picking up, encountered more and more out of the norm situations, giving me more opportunities to learn.. I just hope I dun screwed up... *crossing fingers*

On wed, my mentor cum colleague is leavin and that was her final day... I was abit taken aback by the news when i first heard of it... but at the same time, happy for her as she will be exploring other opportunitites... :) I will miss her lots when she's gone, even though i have known her for a while and din have time to get to know her better... :(

The food was not too bad, just that i tot it was not really my kind of food and a bit too pricey for the portion one is getting... will think twice before going back there... :) we were too hungry to even take pics of the food! you can even watch performance while eating... the dancer even came over to us to talk to us :P and my boss was talking to her in spanish... so cool! for your info, my boss is British... :) but the service was so-so only, we gt a table of 12 and we were only given 1 menu... -_-" even after requesting, only came 3 more... i mean they should provide more so that we can make a speedy ordering...

It actually felt very quiet on work on thurs and fri... hmm... mayb cos my neighbour was on leave... *shrugs* anyway, i nearly died on thurs! cos i slpt too late on wed night! one thing is cos i reached home rather late, being a person that require a fair bit of slp, it was quite damaging... another thing, i was happliy entertained by someone... hahaha... *wink*

On fri, I met with my les partner! :)) I was so excited to meet her, cos we have not met since FOC and that was in July! I really missed talking to her, cos talking to her, I dun really have to mind my language... haha... not that we are very crude, we can be rather sarcastic... haha... I also missed catching up with her, we will used to bitch about anything and everyone almost every other day... but now... I'm just glad that things are still the same between me and her... :)
shall meet up with her when she finishes her exams!

It is just strange that how ppl can click with others, regardless of age... there is totally no barrier between me and her... haha...

My lychee martini, which I knocked over a short while later... :S San was saying that i was a destroyer by nature and lin was a destroyer by will... :S

the performance from 830pm to 930pm is quite entertaining! although it can sound very crude at times! haha... after that, it gets quite boring after a while...
But we had fun, didn't we? :)

weekend is almost over... again! *sigh* how come weekends are so short nowadays!? somehow it just flew pass before your eye! :S

on friday, i had my dept's away day. it was something like a team bonding session, where we actually meet everyone in the entire dept! it was interesting as i had never done something like it before...
to kick off the session, it was a presentation by my big boss, giving an update on how the entire dept was doing and what are each biz unit's future directions. he seems glad that we are doing relatively well and in fact he promised if we were to do what he expected, he would give us spa retreats! hahaa... told you my company has gd benefits! :)

it was followed by this mock elections where we were to work as teams and debated about topics given, in order to get the audience to vote for their fav candidates running for various positions. haha... it was very interesting to see ppl, regardless of position battled it out during the debate! :)

the afternoon session was conducted by external facilitators, they made it entertaining but at times, a bit boring...
the games they play have a bit of FOC feel in it... haha... but overall, it was fun! although by the end of it, i was rather tired... *yawnz*

we also have a bowling and billiard session organised by the in-charge... hehe, i chose bowling! haha... in the process of the game, i got to know 2 other colleagues better! :) new found frens! i think i bowled better this time as compared to the one on my birthday! :) should get my frens to go bowling sometime!

Dinner was buffet style as usual, very filling! the whole day i was well fed by the company, i went home with a bloated stomach... nearly suffered from indigestion...

On sat, i went to ECP with my sch frens! :) it was a long time since i met up with some of them! and my virgin exp with blading!

Today was the amore women's day out and me and my poly mates went to join the 3 hour aerobics challenge! haha... it was tougher that i tot it would be! first hour was aerobics and i was confused most of the time as there are too many different steps... second hour was kickboxing, it was fun! i love kickboxing! it really was something that i really like! :) the last hour was cross-training and that was a killer! the instructor was good but she really pushed us to the extreme! towards the end, it is really about endurance... and now i dun even feel like moving from my comfortable spot in my room... i just hope tml i will b able to get myself out of bed... *sigh*
this year the goodie bag was not bad and the bag itself can double up as a gym bag! :) i should start get my lazy ass back to some exercise! if not, as kerry always said, i will go back to my HK state very soon! noooooo..... that is so NOT going to happen!!! :(

Just came back from my company's DND...
Met a lot of old frens, it feels like uni when u see frens everywhere u turn...
It was quite fun... :)

and........ I WON a CAMERA!!!! :) even better, my brother also WON the BOSE SOUND SYSTEM~! Aren't we lucky!
