*Bday celebrations*

this is a bit overdue...
had dinner with yp, ash, lp, qx, zh, jh and boyfren on Ash's birthday... it was kimchi hotpot! hehe... damn nice... lp is a very gd cook... she even went online on how to make, went to various places to buy the ingredients... :) thanks gal!

ash's boyfren custom made this cake that looked like a bento set... so cool! gt sashimi, tempura and sushi that looked like the real stuff! so cute!! hehe... then i keep telling boyfren he no effort wor... even for the case of birthday cake also asked me whether i wan it or not... *bleah* where gt ppl asked like that?? i was like... duh... but i din say yes or no... it's the kind of Q that when gals meant the opposite of what they say...

but he also got give me a surprise... was talking to san on the phone when bf popped by around midnite... :) saw me talking then he went out again... finished my conversation with San and asked him what is he doing outside... as i was about to open the door i heard sizzling sounds... and i saw...

he only managed to light up 4 out of 5 sparklers... haha... still blamed me for opening the door too early... heyhey, when u heard noise outside your room, first instinct is to check out what is going on mah... *bleah* since cannot blow the sparklers, thus have to wait for them to extinguish... starting to dig in...




only certain parts can be eaten cos some of the residue of the sparklers fell on the cake... seems like it's poisonous... *shrugs*

*Project Fried Rice*

13th Jan was boyfriend's Bday! Decided to give him a little surprise by cooking for him... As the title suggests, I asked San to be my "Shifu" and teach me how to cook fried rice...
After my one hr lesson of HRM, i went to bugis to meet san to accompany to buy boyfren's pressie as well as a small slice of cake... boyfren mentioned before not to buy him a cake but what's a bday celebration without a cake??
Then we went to San's house to cook... In addition to fried rice, herbal soup was also on the menu... :)

It was easier than I tot... :) and the taste was not bad wor... hahaha...

On the other hand, the soup was a bit of failure... it taste weird weird... i think mayb was not cooked long enough...
Then i carried all the yummy goodies to the void deck of his house... gave him a call at 12 midnite...
Not fun one... :( he already guessed that i would do something like that... keep telling me no need to give him a surprise... *bleah* total spoiler... but...
he never expected me to cook for him... *hee* At least gt a little of a surprise element...




Happy happy Bday!!! Next year i will definitely do a better job at surprising U! :P

Long awaited gathering was held @ San's house... as usual San cooked lunch for every1... hehe...

looks yummy... but i din get to eat... cos i ate before i went to her house... forgot to ask my dad not to buy breakfast for me... hehe.. Actually, i reach there @ 3 plus... they already finished eating and started playing le...

*Yeah!!! 2007!!!*

Spent the day with the old "Spice" gang... :) really felt that time did not have any impact on our frenship... :) felt like old times when we were still in sceondary sch! haha... 2007 marks the 10th year that we known each other... sure was long wor... feel damn old now... muahahaha... Every1 sure did not changed much...

Today is a day of eating... were constantly eating... never ate so much b4 in a day wor... will post the mouth watering pics soon, once i "kop" the pics from san and jas... :P

Spent New Year's Eve with Boyfren... :) been a long time that we had seen each other... definitely missed his company...
Satisfied my craving for Jap food @Sun&Moon... however, the deep fried tofu was not exactly i expected... still prefered the usual with the tempura sauce... *yum yum* :) hehe, overall was an enjoyable meal with boyfren's occasionally lame jokes... haha... then we went to watch Death Note 2... Ending was different from the manga, but boyfren thinks that it is better... i have not finished the manga so no comments... not so bad lah... quite entertaining, although certain parts were not accounted for, might be confusing for those who never read the manga... :)

*Side Note: in the middle of the movie, the couple next to us were smooching wor... hmmm... this kind of storyline also can wor...

Went to eat supper after the movie... *Yucks* definitely one of the worst that i had so far... somemore so ex, cheat ppl $$... $%#^%&$^&$!!! bad note to end the whole day! @#$%%^# no wonder like no one there...


Hope we can have many many years of celebrations! :)
